The Minnesota Vikings and star wide receiver Justin Jefferson have reached agreement on a four-year, $140 million contract extension that will make him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The deal includes $110 million guaranteed and will keep Jefferson in Minnesota through the 2026 season.
Jefferson, 23, is coming off a breakout season in which he led the NFL in receiving yards (1,616) and touchdowns (10). He was also named a First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowler.
The Vikings drafted Jefferson with the 22nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has quickly become one of the most dynamic and productive wide receivers in the league.
The contract extension is a sign that the Vikings are committed to building around Jefferson and making him the face of their franchise.
