South Sudan to make Olympic basketball history
Bol Bol will not play in tournament
25-man training camp roster announced
South Sudan will compete in a men's Olympic basketball tournament for the first time in history when they take to the court on 28 July.
The team will be led by Phoenix forward Bol Bol, the son of Sudan basketball legend Manute Bol. However, Bol Bol will not play in the 2024 tournament.
The South Sudan Basketball Federation announced a 25-man training camp roster ahead of its Olympic tournament preparations.
South Sudan will compete in Group A of the tournament, alongside the United States, France, and Iran.
