Maryland Gov. Wes Moore's Approval Rating Remains High
Ratings in line with recent polling
A recent poll shows that Maryland Gov. Wes Moore's approval rating remains high. The Gonzales Poll, conducted in January 2023, found that 55% of Marylanders approve of the job Moore is doing, while 16% disapprove. This is an improvement from June 2022, when Moore's approval rating was 50% and his disapproval rating was 21%.

Moore's approval rating is in line with other recent polls. A Goucher College poll conducted in December 2022 found that 54% of Marylanders approve of the job Moore is doing, while 22% disapprove. A Washington Post-University of Maryland poll conducted in November 2022 found that 53% of Marylanders approve of the job Moore is doing, while 23% disapprove.
Moore's approval rating is also in line with the approval ratings of other Democratic governors. A recent poll by the Pew Research Center found that 54% of Americans approve of the job their Democratic governor is doing, while 38% disapprove.
