A previous post regarding the AIM-54 missile pillow has been reposted due to an error in the original posting. The AIM-54 Phoenix is an American radar-guided long-range air-to-air missile carried in clusters of up to six on the U.S. Navy's Grumman F-14 Tomcat fighter jet. Each missile is 4.42 m (14.5 ft) long and weighs 450 kg (1,000 lb). The Phoenix missile has a range of 190 km (120 mi) and a speed of Mach 5.5. It is guided by a radar seeker head and can be used against both air and surface targets.
